Malvern Town triumphed 2-0 over Evesham United, seeing their undefeated streak extended to six games.
Goals from Levi Francis and Sam Clark spurred The Hillsiders on to a victory that moves them up to tenth in the Pitching In Southern League Division One South.
Speaking after the game, Malvern manager Lee Hooper said: "The start of the season didn't go too well, we've really struggled with injuries and players being unavailable so we've really been up against it in numbers.
"The lads have been in the trenches, but they've dug in, they've ground out results and that's put them in a really positive mindset, going out and getting wins."
Hooper credits a 1-1 draw away at Willand Rovers as the moment that turned the time, however despite the positive run Malvern have been experiencing, they are still not without injury woes.
"We had to change formation [for the Evesham game] because of personnel available," said Hooper. "We had two injuries on Saturday, we've had a long injury list for the past two months really, had players playing through injury.
"We still defended really well. We have worked on being compact, making them not come through us easily and when the ball does come in the box, we get on the end of it and we defend it well.
"That was the gameplan, to be in the game at half time. Then we re-evaluate at half time. We went out for the win because we thought it was there, we thought we were capable of the win and the two goals there were decent well worked goals. I don't think we looked like conceding to be honest."
Malvern's next game is against Bideford on Saturday, November 2.
