LEIGH and Bransford Badgers slumped to a second successive Worcester League Sunday Division Five defeat of the season at Clifton Rovers, losing 2-1.
The visitors were involved in a tight, end-toend battle and could feel a little unlucky not to have taken a point.
Clifton grabbed a 10thminute lead, an advantage they held until the interval, and then made it 2-0 just 10 minutes into the second-half.
But the Badgers hit back and debutant Ollie Bond found Jack Pearson and the striker turned his marker then fired the ball home.
