COLWALL were completely outplayed in an eight-wicket defeat to Worcestershire League Division One leaders Oldswinford.
The visitors won the toss and unsurprisingly chose to put the Stowe Lane side into bat on a good wicket with a wet outfield.
Colwall failed to apply themselves as openers Daniel Martin (19) and Nick Panniers (5) fell to successful lbw appeals.
There was no lack of expansive shots on display but the loss of Dan McKay (11) signalled a collapse.
The hosts slumped from 46-2 to 70 all out in 15 overs as Dan Head (12) was the only double- figure scorer otherwise.
Oldswinford took no time in dismantling the bowling attack with Thomas Blunt (31no) and Lee Nightingale (30) smashing a series of boundaries.
Although Dave Bassett picked up an lbw and Colwall claimed a lucky run-out, a boundary from Blunt took the visitors over the victory line in just 12.4 overs.
