LEDBURY Town secured their second piece of silverware this season after a stunning Strongbow Senior Cup final victory.
The Herefordshire FA Charity Bowl champions again got the better of Bartestree but this time after extra-time with a 5-4 scoreline, six yellow cards and two dismissals.
The match at Holme Lacy started badly for the New Street outfit when keeper Luke Ledbury was lobbed after just three minutes.
Ledbury saved well 10 minutes later before Dan Herbert levelled and then Jamie Welch broke through to slam home not long after Pete Boyle had struck the bar from 25 yards.
They led 2-1 following a thrilling first-half but Bartestree levelled three minutes into the second period through Tony Richards.
Town fell behind five minutes later and Ledbury was lobbed for a second time to make it 4-2.
Matters got worse for Chris Powell’s side when their striker Welch saw red for a second yellow card.
But Ledbury then started a fightback with Pete Boyle brought down in the box by Mark Langford, who was dismissed for a second booking, and Sam Dixon buried the spot-kick.
Determined striker Tom Boyle finally netted the equaliser on 85 minutes, after going close on numerous occasions, to take the game into extra-time.
With both sides down to 10 men near the end of a long season, they both tired and Ledbury pulled off one decisive save before almost making a howler.
But Herbert provided the winning moment in the 103rd minute, running into the box to pound the ball home.
Town were left with the challenge of defending their fragile lead and hearts leapt as a Bartestree shot struck the bar in the 107th minute.
Ledbury received a big let-off when another effort deflected off the post and skimmed the goalline but they held out for another cup to add to the trophy cabinet.
