AFC Smethwick 2, Malvern Rangers 2.
DAVE Reynolds fired an injury-time equaliser as Malvern Rangers grabbed a draw in West Midlands League Division Two.
Just three days after their Worcester and District League Saturday Junior Cup final victory, Rangers took the lead when Paul Edwards’ half-volley had keeper Parminder Singh rooted to the spot.
Their advantage lasted only four minutes, however, when some poor defence allowed Stuart Smith to run through on goal. He did well to round Ian Hill, before firing home.
The hosts restored their lead when Joe Endacott was caught in possession on 78 minutes by livewire Smith and the striker raced into the box and fired home.
Reynolds headed the late equaliser after good work from Rob Cullen.
