UNFORTUNATELY this WCL division three south game was the victim of a rain storm that seemed to circle around the Malvern Hills once and then return for a second time.
COLWALL v BIRLINGHAM
The pitch was deemed too wet for play despite the sterling efforts of the Colwall players and groundsman.
Colwall had Birlingham at 45-4 off 17 overs when the match was abandoned.
Kontarines and Berry took two wickets a piece.
Third-placed Colwall lost points at the top as leaders Wormelow won by six wickets and Monmouth enjoyed a winning draw.
Tomorrow (Saturday), Colwall have a crucial game when they visit Wormelow, start 1.30pm.
