THE Golden Netball Trophy saw 10 teams compete at Queen Elizabeth Humanities College in Bromyard.
The teams from the local area and further afield, including Tenbury and Ashperton played in group and knock-out stages for three trophies.
This event has been played since 1975 and for the first time this year split from the corresponding football tournament, which will take place on another day.
Following the group stages teams were placed in order, with the top playing for the coveted trophy, middle teams for the plate and lower teams for the shield.
RESULTS: Golden Trophy: Winners- Burley Gate ‘A’, runners-up-Tenbury ‘A’. Plate winners- Pencombe, runners-up-Ashperton, Shield-winners-Burley Gate ‘B’, runners-up Tenbury ‘B’.
