LEDBURY-based West Bromwich Albion football coaches, Allan Hawkins and Paul Gardiner, have joined forces to bring their Soccer Camp Coaching School to the town over the May half-term.
The Soccer Camp will be running at Ledbury Primary School on Tuesday, May 26, at a cost of £15 for the day before moving to Newent on the following two days.
A goalkeeping specific course will be held on Friday, May 28, at the University of Worcester at a cost of £25 for the day for ages eight to 16.
Hawkins said: “The half-term soccer camp is not just about finding talented footballers who could be invited in to the WBA development centre.
“It’s also about football being a fun sport to do and there will be plenty of frenzied action with penalty shoot-outs, cross- bar challenges and games for boys and girls aged five to 12 to enjoy, whether they take soccer seriously or just for fun. Everyone is invited to have a day of activity.”
For more information, or to join in on the action and book a place, call Allan or Paul on 01531 636563 or 0778 904 6998.
Hawkins has also seen one of his goalkeeping academy members sign for a professional club.
Academy star Harry Burgoyne has joined Premier League newcomers Wolverhampton Wanderers.
