MORE than 420 children, from 28 different primary schools in the Malvern Hills District, took part in a fun-filled tag rugby competition.
Held at the Malvern Rugby Club, in partnership with Malvern Hills District Council, West Worcestershire School Sports Partnership and West Mercia Police, the event proved to be a fantastic success.
With 40 teams of children, all in school years four to six, the competition began with a pool stage in the morning, leading to a knock-out stage in the afternoon. A total of 120 matches were played.
Trophy winners: Leigh and Bransford Primary School, Cup winners: Shared between Hanley Swan Primary School and Eldersfield Lawn Primary School, Shield winners: Callow End Primary School.
