EVESHAM & MALVERN HILLS COLLEGE 4, SWINDON COLLEGE 0.
EVESHAM & Malvern Hills College started well with good possession when Martin Tomes beat Swindon’s goalkeeper with a well-executed lob after 10 minutes.
Swindon came more into the game after this goal and should have levelled the score in the 25th minute when Malvern Hill’s goalkeeper lost the ball between his legs and with the goal at his mercy, the Swindon centre forward blasted it over the bar. The hosts created two more chances before the end of the half but the goalkeeper made a good save and the other went wide off the post.
Evesham started the second- half as they ended the first and scored again 40 seconds from kick-off with a Chris Gardner effort 15 yards out. Again, Swindon worked hard to get a foothold in the game and in the 65th minute put a move together that just shaved the outside of the post. Evesham continued to create chances as Millar, Young and Wylie all went close before a penalty was converted by Dallard.
