MALVERN Joggers came home from the London Marathon with a crop of good results.
The group’s nine runners joined 37,000 others in the race on a warm day that lowered the ambitions of many for a fast time.
The club’s distance running star Emma Gooderham overcame recent injury worries to finish in a new personal best time of two hours and 52 minutes.
She now looks ahead to competing for Britian in a 100km race later this year.
Of the nine Joggers, five were first timers at the marathon distance.
Jayne Ackroyd ran superbly to just scrape under the four-hour mark by 20 seconds and recorded Vikki Sivertsen 4.03.17.
