COLWALL won the toss in their first Worcester League Division One fixture in their history and asked the visitors to bat first.
Keyte skied a short delivery off Berry which was taken by wicketkeeper Wheeler, for six. Foster soon followed, bowled by Mike King for 12. With the score on 53-2, Charles Griffiths was introduced at the Pear Tree End and Colwall then reduced their opponents to 124-8, debutant Gareth Sharp taking four catches off Griffiths at slip.
Only a spirited effort by Muspratt, Corbett and Walters took the score to a respectable 185-9 off their alloted 50 overs, Griffiths finishing with the impressive figures of 7-43.
In reply, Colwall had no problems in chasing down the required total.
Openers Tom Coleman and Nick Panniers despatching the Worcester bowling to all parts.
Colwall won by 10 wickets with 21.2 overs to spare, Coleman finished on 98no and Panniers 59no.
