MALVERN Hills Gymnastic Club celebrate their first anniversary this week.
The Spring Lane South outfit opened their doors last April with the gymnasts, parents and staff helping to provide a new full sprung floor which cost more than £10,000.
This was achieved with the help of the gymnasts doing various fundraising events, from bag packing at Morrison’s to sponsored tumbles.
The Farmers Arms at Birtsmorton held a fun ride, raising £1,000 for the club.
The regional grades event in Birmingham saw Siobhan Fitzpatrick achieved a grade 11, Eppie Ali grade 13 and Tia Moor grade 14.
On Sunday (2pm) the club are holding an open day to celebrate their anniversary.
Everyone is welcome to come and look around the gym, speak to the coaches and join in the fun.
The afternoon will consist of displays from the gymnasts, tombola, raffle, games and refreshments.
