MALERN MAVERICKS triumphed over Leadonites, winning 55-45.
The Gloucestershire Basket Ball Association Division 1 fixture, was the Mavericks' fifth of the season. The win sees the side sitting fourth in the table on 13 points - with games in hand on every team placed above them.
It is the Mavericks' second victory over Leadonites this season, having also seen off the side away from home, winning 79-65.
Mavericks scored the first basket at the St James Sports and Fitness Centre in Malvern, and maintained their lead for the remainder of the game.
It was a low scoring game, which saw both Mavericks and Leadonites miss their fair share of shots, however Malvern were ultimately able to dominate the game and pick up another win - their fourth of the season, in five games played.
For Leadonites, the result sees them fall to sixth-place, having won just one of their seven fixtures.
Mavericks' next game will see the side play at home again, facing second-placed Hawks, before finishing the year with a game against Blue Sharks.
