MALVERN CYCLE SPORT are preparing to host the West Midlands Regional Championships in the West Midlands Cyclocross League, this Sunday (November 24).
The event will see 11 different categories compete, ranging from under 14s through to over 70s and everything in between.
Cyclocross is a form of bike racing that sees competitors complete numerous laps of a short course. The course often sees mixed terrain, and requires riders to dismount and carry their bikes at points.
Malvern Cycle Sport currently sit 17th in the West Midlands Cyclocross League on 3239 points, just behind Redditch Road and Path Cycling Club and Worcester St John's Cycling Club.
The league is currently lead by Rotor Race Team who have amassed 5225 points at this point in time.
The racing will kick off this Sunday (November 24) with the youth under 14 category racing for the title first.
