UPTON-on-Severn continued their title charge on Saturday with a thumping 63-24 win over local rivals Droitwich.
Upton stretched their winning run to five games with another bonus-point victory that keeps them top of the Counties 4 Midlands West (South). They are one point clear of second-placed Malvern 2XV, with a game in hand over their nearest title rivals.
Photographer Simon Lampitt captured all the best shots of the afternoon, with a number included in the gallery at the top of the page. You can find his full selection of photos here.
Upton's day was made even better when discovering that Malvern had lost away at bottom-of-the-league Five Ways Old Edwardians, a second defeat in a row for the Spring Lane outfit.
Upton have six games remaining in the league and are the favourites to lift the trophy and gain promotion after this weekend's results. They are next in action away at Evesham 2XV on February 17.
