THE Worcester Warriors Supporters Trust are now accepting members to join them in their fight to bring rugby back to Sixways.
As it stands, both the Warriors' men's and women's team are no longer active following the club going into administration back in September 2022.
The Trust was formerly recognised as a Community Benefit Society by the Financial Conduct Authority in August and now they are ready to take members on board.
In a statement on their website, they said: "We realise that there isn't a great deal to buy into currently with both the Men's and Women's teams now sadly inactive. It is clear however that there is a huge amount of passion for the club out there still, both in Worcestershire and afar.
"We do believe that the Supporters Trust will be integral in restarting rugby under the Worcester Warriors name at Sixways Stadium.
"There is a determination to succeed in our aims and objectives but we certainly need the backing of rugby fans near and far, as well as anyone who champions the "little guy", if we are to do so."
Membership for adults starts at £20 per year and this gives the right to vote at WWST meetings and elections and to stand for Board Membership. There are higher-priced tiers for those who feel they can donate a little more money to the cause.
Young people (under 16) are also invited to join for just £5 per year. Voting rights cannot be granted for this age group but they, like adult members, will have access to a Members Forum and Members area on the website.
