MALVERN Town co-manager Lee Hooper has ultimate confidence in his side's ability to get the job done and secure a promotion play-off place as the season enters the final three games.
Malvern play their final home game of the season with Brimscombe & Thrupp on Good Friday as they look to maintain their edge over Corsham Town in third place.
The Hillsiders will secure a play-off spot with three wins from their final three games in the Hellenic Premier, but with Corsham on the charge, the pressure is very much on Hooper and his team.
"We are always confident in the lads. We have built a team, a squad that we are confident in," said Hooper
"Brimmy are a decent outfit, they are always well drilled and are a good bunch of lads so it'll be tough but if we are at it and we match them in terms of work rate, we will earn the right to play and then we have the quality to beat any side.
"Hopefully we get a big crowd on Friday, their support is phenomenal. The following we get is terrific and has been all season.
"Hopefully we can get a win for them tomorrow and can finish off the home season with a win for them."
Malvern start the weekend 14 points clear of Corsham but the latter have four games in hand and given their recent run - six wins in a row, scoring 24 goals and conceding none - it is feasible that lead could be cut to just two points by the time the final game of the campaign rolls around... when Corsham host Malvern.
But Hooper and co-manager Stephen Cleal have overseen a run of their own in recent weeks, with Malvern winning each of their last four, and now they know that three more will secure their promotion-relegation one-off play-off match.
"We know the job at hand. We know what we have to do on our side and if we get the nine points available, we are in that play-off spot," added Hooper.
"They (Corsham) have had a fantastic run, credit to them. Their Vase run was some achievement and unfortunately, they fell at the final hurdle but they have picked themselves up well and won both games this week.
"They do have a tough run of fixtures coming up. They play four of the top six in the next handful of games and they of course still have to play us on the final day. But they are a good outfit and I am sure they are up for the challenge.
"But we just have to do our job and keep winning and if it comes to the last game then may the best team win."
