IT is a case of so far, so good for Malvern Town this season as they look to be mounting another title surge for the second consecutive year.
Having finished third in 2021/22, Malvern are looking to go one better this time around and achieve promotion to Step Four.
As things stand, The Hillsiders sit second in the table, a point behind league leaders Cribbs and are scoring goals for fun.
They managed 17 in two games last week and midfielder Joe Bullock reflected on what was a "fantastic record".
"The last few games have been very pleasing for us," he said.
"We’ve scored 17 goals in the last two matches alone with nine different goalscorers as well.
"That’s a fantastic record at any level and for me personally it has been nice to start getting on the scoresheet more regularly with three goals in November.
"I want to be able to add more goals to my game; hopefully there are plenty more to come from me now!
"Things are shaping up to be quite tight at the top end of the table, a bit like it was last season. There’s still a long way to go and some big fixtures to play, but we’re pleased with how things are shaping up.
"We just have to make sure that we focus on ourselves and get our own house in order and the table will sort itself out."
"It’s important that we don’t look too far ahead, though, and take things game by game. We’ve got good momentum and hopefully we can keep grinding the results out.
"The mood in the dressing room is great; we’re one big team and we’ve all got high expectations of each other. Everyone has a role to play in pushing each other on."
