OLDSWINFORD II v MALVERN II
RICHARD Cullen and Ian Walwyn formed a century partnership as Malvern secured a winning draw at Oldswinford in Crusader Worcestershire County League Division Two.
Batting first, openers Cullen and Walwyn's partnership came from 24 overs. Cullen was first to the 50 mark and Walwyn followed soon after.
Cullen was stumped off the bowling of Fragdley for 76 with his side on 154 after 32 overs. Walwyn went for 70.
Mark Mitchell made 56 not out to see his side reach 252-6.
Malvern's breakthrough came when Whittcase top-edged a sweep into his face off Mitchell (3-66) and retired hurt.
Oldswinford could only mustre 29 of the 34 runs needed for extra points from the last 10 overs, ending on 185-6.
