TWO West Malvern pupils were top of their class at the West Midlands Schools Orienteering Championships held at Hay Wood, near Warwick, last weekend.
Jake Herbert and David Creber, from St James' Primary School, entered the Year 6 boys class as a pair.
Despite wet and muddy conditions the boys completed the 2.1km course in 13.57 minutes. They defeated 18 other entries from schools around the West Midlands, to win their age group.
