THE enforced break due to the snow seemed to work for Malvern Dipsticks as they beat depleted Chelsea 5-0.
Malvern’s mixed team looked secure against 10- player opposition and were well worth only their second clean sheet of the season.
Dipsticks’ goal-scoring hero was Sammie Shail who showed great composure in bagging all five goals to put her well out in front in the hunt for the golden boot.
There is some work for Dipsticks to do in the balance of the midfield but the signs are good on the whole.
