FOOTBALL clubs face a battle against the weather to ensure a second consecutive weekend is not wiped out.
The snow forced regional and local league fixtures to be called off last Saturday and Sunday.
But the prospects of play are not much better tomorrow as Malvern Town prepare to host Wulfrunians and Bromyard Town entertain Dudley Sports (both 3pm).
The two West Midlands League Premier Division rivals, who then face each other next Tuesday at Delahay Meadow (7.45pm), also experienced midweek frustration.
Bromyard's league visit to Herefordshire rivals Wellington and Malvern's Worcester Royal Infirmary Cup clash with Bromsgrove Sporting at the Langland Stadium were postponed too.
With Malvern 10th in the table and Bromyard 16th, a crunch clash is in store next week but that match is already in doubt.
Malvern Rangers have a Worcestershire FA Saturday Junior Cup quarter-final at Bewdley Town Under 21s tomorrow (11am).
A derby between Powick and Newtown Sports in Worcester and District League Division One also awaits.
