TERRY Jenkins will face Steve Brown in the first round of the Ladbrokes.com World Championship.
The Ledbury ace, seeded ninth for the £1million event, takes on the player ranked 35th in the order of merit when the events gets under way at London’s Alexandra Palace on December 14.
Jenkins could meet Canadian former world champion John Part in the second round and is also in the same quarter of the draw as world number one Phil Taylor.
Bristolian Brown has links to Worcester as his darts academy has a base at Rileys in Shrub Hill.
Reigning champion Adrian Lewis begins his defence against Dutchman Gino Vos.
