Brian Turner and John Knee both drew although Brian was under significant pressure from the opening.
Ian Clarke’s opponent played a good positional game to exploit Clarke’s weak pawns and win.
Geoffrey Herbert found holes in his opponent's pawn structure to win an excellent game and hold the draw for Malvern.
