Craig Carter and Lee Hooper scored for Les Jones’ midtable side in the 2-2 draw after a bright start from the visitors.
Oliver Endacott shot wide before keeper Charles Price spilled the ball following Reece King’s cross and Carter walked it into the net on 12 minutes.

Price made amends with a superb one-handed save to deny Carter after he weaved past two defenders but Lye equalised in the 26th minute.
When the ball was played upfield, defender Dale Humphries slipped and Ricky Anslow fired home for the high-flying hosts.
Anslow then drove a rebound wide after keeper Ian Hill denied Scott Gennard brilliantly and Damien Whitcombe headed over.
Malvern hit back and regained the lead on 42 minutes through Hooper who nodded in Oliver Endacott’s pinpoint left-wing cross.
King and Oliver Endacott fired off target as did Anslow and Whitcombe for the Black Country side as they chased a second leveller.
Lye turned on the pressure for the last 10 minutes and Hill pulled off a superb point-blank save.
But, despite the Malvern keeper’s efforts, substitute Nicky Pugh hauled Lye level three minutes into injurytime.
