TWO young people from Malvern headed to South Africa this week to take part in annual United Nations climate negotiations.
22-year-old Cat Stace and Matt Williams, 25, travelled to Durban as part of a 13-strong delegation from the UK Youth Climate Coalition. The UN talks will bring together negotiators and politicians from all over the world to come up with solutions to tackle climate change.
Miss Stace: “This is a great opportunity and I’m so happy to be involved. Young people need to make sure that negotiators and world leaders realise we care about these talks.
“The decisions made in South Africa will affect us as young people for decades to come. We really do make an impact and want to stress there should be no decisions about us without us.”
