TWO motorcyclists were injured when their bikes collided with a car at Welland.
West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to Marlbank Road shortly before 10.55am on Sunday.
Two ambulance crews, a BASICS Emergency Doctor from Mercia Accident Rescue Service, an incident support officer and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Strensham attended.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “The more seriously injured motorcyclist was taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital by land ambulance as he was too sick to fly. He was accompanied by the BASICS Emergency Doctor. This motorcyclist, a man in his 40s, had chest injuries. He was given oxygen, fluids and pain relief en-route to Worcestershire Royal Hospital.
“The other motorcyclist, a man in his forties, had a fractured leg. He was given pain relief and was flown to the same hospital.”
