LEAFLETS are being posted and doors are being knocked as candidates in the Malvern Hills district try to gain every possible vote in the final few days of electioneering.
There will be 74 candidates contesting 38 seats on the district council when voters go to the polls on Thursday (May 5).
Voters will also be asked whether they want to replace the existing first-past-the-post system for electing MPs to Westminster with the method known as AV (Alternative Vote).
The count for this year’s MHDC elections will take place on Friday, May 6 at the Bank House Hotel, in Bransford.
After being verified overnight the count will start at 10am and is expected to be completed by around noon to 12.30pm.
The count for the AV referendum will follow later the same day at 4pm.
Don’t forget to log on to malverngazette.co.uk next Friday for all the results.
