A RECORD 1,500 participants have already signed up to take place in the 2011 Mud Runner Oblivion event at Eastnor Deer Park.
The 10km event is a tough trail race through muddy tracks and over 10 formidable obstacles that promise to test both entrants’ stamina and sense of humour.
This year’s event looks set to become something of a local derby, with the Ledbury Mud Monkeys (Steve Rooke, Barry Thomson and Clifford Berry) defending their title against “Team Venom” from Tewkesbury. Malvern Joggers also have more than a dozen runners entered into the event.
There is still time to apply for the event, on Sunday, May 8. For entry forms and more information visit mudrunner.co.uk.
