ORGANISERS of Malvern in Bloom are calling for local guest houses and B&Bs to get involved in this year’s campaign.
“It occurred to me that perhaps there are local guesthouses which have nice gardens that visitors can sit in and enjoy, and so I suggested to the Heart of England in Bloom organisers that they could be included in the same category as hotels,” explained chairman John Jordan. “The judges have agreed and so we are calling on any establishments in the area that might fit the description to get involved and participate.
“It is good publicity for them and another feather in the cap for when people are trying to promote themselves as somewhere to stay.”
The deadline for entries is Saturday, April 30 and anyone interested in taking part can call Mr Jordan on 01684 566760.
