UNEMPLOYMENT in the Malvern Hills has fallen slightly, according to the latest statistics.
Figures from the National Office for Statistics show that 1,064 people claimed jobseeker’s allowance in the district during March, down from 1,088 the previous month. This equates to 2.4 per cent of the working age population.
The latest figures are also slightly down on a year ago. In March 2010 there were 1,086 JSA claimants.
