CHILDREN at Cradley Primary School celebrated the royal wedding in advance yesterday (Thursday, April 14) with a street party.
The playground was decked with bunting, and there was traditional party food and songs. The school's Year Six Young Leaders also ran party games for the younger children.
Rev Dawn Hyett, the head teacher, said: "Because the school holidays in Herefordshire are a week later than other counties, we'll still be on vacation when the actual wedding takes place."
Earlier in the week, there was a royal wedding-themed craft session, with the children designing their ideas for a dress, cake or car for the event.
