MALVERN Hills Lions Club is holding its third annual walk for Diabetes UK next month, and is looking for people to take part.
The event is on Sunday, May 22, and is based at the overspill car park opposite the Three Counties Showground's brown gate.
There is a four-mile and an eight-mile walk. Half of the proceeds will go to Diabetes UK, the other half to the Lions, which will use it to fund local charitable causes.
Joanna Oldfield, Diabetes UK's regional fundraising manager, said: "We would like to encourage as many people as possible to get involved. It's a great day out for all the family."
A team from Lloyds Pharmacy will be there, offering walkers the chance to have free diabetes risk assessments at the Barnards Green branch on subsequent days.
The walk is from 9am to noon. You can register on the day, or via the charity's website at diabetes.org.uk.
