THE annual Vestry Meeting for the election of churchwardens and the annual election of members and officers for the Parochial Church Council will be held on Sunday morning (April 10).
All those on the Civil Electoral Roll are entitled to attend and vote for the churchwardens, but only those on the Church Electoral Roll may vote in the PCC elections.
Anyone may attend the meeting, however, to hear the reports on the activities of the PCC and on Church Finances.
Spokesman Adrian Taylor said: “The PCC hope that as many people as possible will come to these important elections and that we may have some new and younger members on the PCC to help us out.
“So come and support your church so it will be here to serve the community in the future as it has for hundreds of years in the past.”
The elections will take place at 10.30am following the church’s family service.
