YOUNG X Factor star Cher Lloyd will be performing live this weekend down in London, with family members cheering her on.
Mum and dad Darren and Diane Lloyd, plus five other family members will be in the studio audience at Wembley tomorrow (Saturday) while Cher performs in the knock-out stage of the TV talent contest.
"We're very definitely confident she'll succeed," said Darren today (Friday).
To show their confidence, the family has had four banners made urging Malvern people to vote for Cher tomorrow.
Bearing the words "Please support your local girl", two will go to Francis of Malvern, where Cher's step-grandfather is a manager, and one to the Express Inn. "We have't yet decided where the fourth one is going," said Darren.
The banners, plus some posters were made by Spring Lane company Printed Banners and Signs. "They've done a good job," said Darren.
Visit the Malvern Gazette website again next week to find out how Cher did in the crucial stage of the competition.
