A MALVERN business is offering aspiring authors a realistic opportunity to pen their own books.
Printing firm Aspect Design, based in Newtown Road, has built up a successful trade in “short-run” books over the past few years.
The system allows authors to have small numbers of books printed, starting from about 20 copies, meaning they can become published authors without facing a huge outlay. If there is sufficient demand, they can simply order more copies to be produced.
Aspect Design is holding an open day from 10.30am - 1pm on Saturday, September 26 for people to find out more about short-run books.
Several local authors who have used the system to publish their stories or poetry will be on hand to chat and offer advice to members of the public.
Owner Sue Smith said: “It has been a great success. There are a lot of people out there with fantastic stories to tell and we have seen some very lovely books produced.”
