A DEVICE which eases the stress of transporting water over long distances has picked up an industry award for a Malvern inventor.
Guy Unwin had previously found success on BBC’s Dragon’s Den with the Toastabag, which produces toasted sandwiches in a normal toaster.
His latest invention, for Planit Products, takes the bag idea a step further and solves a problem for gardeners, builders and animal keepers.
It allows people to carry up to 80 litres of water safely in a wheelbarrow using a specially designed durable bag.
A fitted cap makes it easy to pour and a non-slip mat stops the bag from going anywhere.
Mr Unwin and his partner Caroline Kavanagh received the DIY Week’s Gold Winner for Best New Product in the Garden Equipment category on Saturday, May 16 at a ceremony held at the Sheraton Park Lane Hotel.
