TRAVELLERS using First Great Western train services through Malvern and Ledbury could face disruption this summer as work is carried out on the line between Worcester and Oxford.
Network Rail is carrying out engineering work to make the line double-track again, which will ultimately allow more services to run.
It will be completely closed between Worcester and Oxford from July 18 to August 3, between Moreton-in-Marsh and Evesham from August 3 to August 24, and between Worcester and Oxford again from August 24 to September 1.
First Great Western will still be running some services between the Hereford/Worcester area and London Padddington, using a route via Cheltenham.
The full timetable, including replacement coach services, will be published in the next couple of weeks.
