A NEW-look website for Festival Housing Group has been commended for its use of ‘plain English’.
The site allows Elgar Housing Association residents to pay rent, report repairs and manage their rental accounts without having to leave their homes.
It was redesigned recently making it easy to navigate and ensuring the pages contained the most up to date information about services and properties.
Malvern resident Dawn Jones was one of the first to sign up for the service.
She said: “Your Account is very easy to use and very secure. I can manage my tenancy from the comfort of my own home while the kids are asleep in bed.”
The website has also been recognised by the Plain English Campaign which recently gave it the Crystal Mark award in recognition of its clarity and accuracy.
Commercial director for Festival, Richard Grounds, added: “The new website is another step towards making our services easier to access. We hope our residents will register with Your Account and take up the opportunity to manage their tenancy online.”
Festival is offering a £50 shopping voucher to the 100th recruit to sign up to the Your Account service. For more information visit the website festivalhousing.org or contact (01684) 579579 for help with registering.
