A TEAM of young entrepreneurs from The Chase Technology College in Malvern have created an innovative and inexpensive product to help young children learn foreign languages.
The Young Enterprise company Anime has successfully designed, produced and marketed a learning resource pack to assist young pupils who are studying modern languages.
The product has already been launched in local primary schools, and company members hope schools from further afield will also be interested.
“We are hoping it will go around Worcestershire and perhaps even beyond if it proves a hit,” said company spokesman Lucy Goodbody. “It has been well received so far. Everyone we have spoken to really likes the idea.
“Learning a modern foreign language is becoming compulsory in primary schools from 2010 and a lot of the resources that are out there at the moment are really expensive. Ours is on a smaller scale and more affordable which is important with the economic climate at the moment.”
