A TEAM of adventurous youngsters from the Chase has just completed the Ten Tors 2009 challenge.
After training hard on the Malvern Hills and Brecon Beacons, the team of six completed the 45-mile route on Dartmoor.
A blistering pace was set on the Saturday, and the team completed 33 miles before retiring to get some well-deserved rest.
The next day, after battling through treacherously foggy conditions, the boys continued to set a good speed through the breath-taking countryside. They reached the finish line at 1.03pm, finishing 39th out of 140 teams.
The team consisted of James McKeane (team captain), Jamie Gordon (chief navigator), Chris Ashley, Colin Martin, Mike Hood and Simon Noble.
