POLICE in Bromyard are dealing with a somewhat bizarre burglary of a bedsit in the town, where the only thing stolen was a pottery horse.
The break-in occurred at about 6pm on Tuesday, May 12, at a bedsit in a building in Broad Street, where the front door was forced.
Stolen from the property was a pottery horse that had "Beswick England" painted on its underbelly. The horse stood 50cm tall and 70cm long (20ins by 28ins) and is brown in colour with a black mane, tail and hooves. It is valued at £60.
Police are keen to hear from anyone who may know the current whereabouts of the property or who may have been offered the horse to buy on the cheap.
Anyone with information should contact PC Adele Loney at Bromyard Police Station on 0300 333 3000 or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
