MALVERN’S Beacon Camera Club recently held its Annual Awards Night at the Wyche Institute.
Members entered their very best work from the last year into four categories - mono prints, colour prints, slides and digitally projected images.
The awards were judged by Royal Photographic Society Fellow Martin Fry, who commented on the high standard of entries, the variety of subject matter and the enthusiasm and friendliness of club members.
Club members are now preparing to hold an exhibition of their work in Malvern Library from June 6 to July 10.
Then the club’s 2009/10 season will begin in September. The Beacon Camera Club always welcomes new members, from those who are just starting out in photography to those looking to hone their skills. Anyone interested should visit beaconcameraclub.co.uk for more information.
