ABOUT 30 members of the public turned out to hear about plans for a community radio station in Malvern on Tuesday (May 12).
Broadcaster John Church arranged the meeting at the Foley Arms Hotel to gather support for the project which would see news, music, and local politics broadcast over the internet.
He said: “They asked me questions which turned into a general discussion with everyone in the room.
“There was a strongly supportive feeling that the idea was a runner.”
Mr Church said he was in discussions with Malvern Hills District Council to locate a base for the radio station to broadcast from, but that offers from businesses or individuals would be greatly appreciated.
