FESTIVAL Housing Group staff will be hitting the streets soon and knocking on their tenants’ doors.
In a move being dubbed as “the big door knock” staff will be asking housing association residents to update their records and keep in touch.
Elgar Housing Association, part of the Festival Housing Group, owns 3,500 properties in Malvern and will be knocking on every single door to make sure all the records held are up to date.
Peter Gill, executive director at Festival, said: “At Festival we want to make sure we know about all our residents to ensure we are providing services in a way that is right for them. We are not a number crunching organisation, we are dealing with people and each household has different needs which have to be addressed. The big door knock is one way we can learn more about the communities that we are all building together are successful ones.”
