ARTISTRY and skill combined to create unique floral attractions at town businesses over the weekend.
The extravagant decorations were made by traders taking part in the Blooming Hills competition, now in its second year.
The competition is a collaboration between Great Malvern Association of Trade, Malvern Spring Gardening Show and the Royal Horticultural Society.
Vicki Walker of GMAT said: "The floral display trail was very successful and it was wonderful to see people with their trail maps enjoying the displays over the weekend.
"The restaurants and eateries that took part in the floral-themed menu said that it was very popular and this is something we will build on for next year."
Winner was Lyttleton House Gallery, which judges described as a "dramatic display with ingenious use of plant materials and amazing eye for detail - so much to explore and enjoy".
Air Hairdressing took second place, with the judges saying: "fantastic location with bold display really catches the visitors and brilliant use of vegetables and recycling the old cherry tree".
And third was Iapetus Gallery whose display was "inventive, creative and great fun".
The first prize, a four-star holiday for two in the Azores, was donated by Sunvil Holidays and Select World Travel.
