A MOBILE youth club rolled into a Worcestershire village for fun and games.
The Hanley Youth Club, based at Hanley Swan, near Malvern, hosted the county mobile youth unit at its weekly meeting from 6.30pm until 9pm on Tuesday.
The fully-equipped truck containing games and activities allowed youth staff to discuss a new project with youngsters aimed at providing more facilities for 'older young people'.
The hanleyHUT project has produced a design and obtained planning permission but the current recession is making it difficult to get enough money to fund the ambitious project.
Sue Adeney, the parish councillor leading the project, said: “The young people involved are already moving on having been very committed.
“We hope we can bring more on board and get a sense of the direction we should move towards.”
The youth club, catering for 11 to 16 year olds, meets every Tuesday at the village hall in Hanley Swan. For further details call 01684 310440 or email sadeney@metronet.co.uk
