PUPILS from Castlemorton Primary School spent almost a year collecting 1,500 plastic bottles to create their own recycled green-house.
And then they planted a variety of colourful plants including geraniums, tulips, forget-me-nots and begonias into the shape of the Gambian flag, a country which the school has links with.
Headteacher Janet Adsett said: “We built it to coincide with the garden project we’re involved with at the Three Counties Show.”
Five other local schools are involved with the Three Counties garden and pupils were on site on Thursday to explain their inspiration to visitors.
Mrs Adsett said the green-house had been created with the involvement of all ages in the school.
