THREE free walks are being organised in Malvern to launch a new project promoting stronger links between the town centre and the hills.
The Walkers are Welcome project, organised in association with the Malvern Walking Festival, aims to promote closer links between the town and the hills.
The guided walks, on Friday, May 29, all start from Belle Vue Island. A tough route will take walkers to Happy Valley and there will be moderate routes up to St Ann’s Well and along Worcester Road.
The less energetic can enjoy a relaxed guided tour of Rosebank Gardens.
Places are limited and should be booked at the Tourist Information Centre, in Church Street.
The Walkers are Welcome project is being supported by organisations including Malvern Hills District Council , Worcestershire County Council, Herefordshire Council Great Malvern Association of Traders and the Malvern Hills Conservators.
